Open Positions

Thank you for your interest in employment with Marin Waldorf School. We are seeking the following applicant(s):

Director of Development

2024 Summer Camp Teacher

We value strong colleagueship and warm relationships with parents. Marin Waldorf occupies a beautiful eleven-acre campus with large classrooms, playing fields and a biodynamic garden. We have excellent teachers, an active parent association, and a strong board of trustees. MWS is a fully accredited member of AWSNA. Our school is located on a beautiful 11-acre campus in the heart of Marin County, California, just 30 minutes from the city of San Francisco. Our county is renowned for its beaches, countryside, and giant Redwood trees and Marin’s residents are dedicated to preserving the natural splendor of this region. Consequently, our unspoiled coastline is protected by thousands of acres of parkland and is one of the most desirable areas to live in the United States.

Our school serves approximately 250 students and encompasses a parent/toddler program, two preschools, two kindergartens, a first through fifth grade lower school, and a sixth through eighth grade middle school. Our campus provides our students with the use of a beautiful oak grove, a biodynamic garden, a large green playing field, three separate outdoor play areas for preschool, kindergarten and the grades, as well as a library and a woodwork room. We have large, well-supplied classrooms for all of our students as well as dedicated classrooms for music and handwork. Along with woodwork, handwork, and music (instrumental, orchestral & choir), our expanded curriculum includes physical education, gardening, eurythmy, and foreign language.

Marin Waldorf School is Marin County’s only accredited, independent Waldorf school serving a community of children from their young-toddler years in our Parent-Toddler Program through the eighth grade. We are a group of committed professionals looking for the right candidate to help us promote and grow our school and mission.
